The end is near!

Downtown with Kelly
Innocent bystander!
The return of gray and black squirrel
The Vous, the place to be! Kelly's getting lucky!!

I'm super excited because I know where I am doing my Ed blocks next month. I am contacting the girls basketball coach to see if I can help out this fall in any way. This week power soccer starts again and I am going to try to help out on wednesday nights with wheelchair basketball. I can't believe I am doing my ed blocks in a high school, but my teacher is really good I hear. I'm also getting back into the school to volunteer right now. I'm just so excited to get back my busy schedule with the kids, yeah! More later.

Kelly came home this weekend for my birthday. I forgot how much I need my best friends until something happens. Last weekend was a blast with Kelly. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure!

Update

Ok, I know it has been over 3 months but I am not really into the blogging thing yet. I am still trying to get unaddicted to facebook. Sorry I love all the pictures!

Things are going well. I am in adapted aquatics, tomorrow is the last day. I love it so much. I'm teaching swimming to students with disabilities and it is so rewarding, it would be better if I could have worked the past 3 weeks while doing this though :-). Next week I have Metro Sports Camp in the cities and I'm really excited for that as well, it should be fun.

In the fall I'm taking my ED blocks and in the spring I student teach again. So I'm back in the cities permanently! See ya St Cloud, it was a rough last 7 months. But some good stuff too, like Andy of course. It was 6 months last month, :-)! We got a kitty together, even though he likes dogs and is allergic to them, he must really love me!!!!!

I cut 12 inches of my hair off in the beginning of June for Locks for Love, it is different but I absolutely love it and I'm so happy to know that a child that really needs it is going to get it.

Summer is flying by, but I am so excited to go to the lake this weekend and see my family and friends and have some fun on the pontoon. I'll try to post again soon, sorry for the long wait Andy and Jess!!!!

Track Season

We're going into our third week of Track at Apollo High School, I can't believe we have our first meet this saturday at SCSU. We have pretty low numbers on the team this year but I am so excited to be coaching hurdles and working with those athletes again. I'm really excited to see my athletes compete this weekend, their form is looking pretty good right now.

I'm still getting use to this cold snowy weather again, Mexico seems forever ago and I miss it so much! The weather was beautiful and the food amazing. But hopefully the warm weather will be here soon!

For now I'm so busy with school, field hours, working, and coaching. I'm excited to watch the Badgers in the Sweet Sixteen and in the NCAA hockey tournament. They didn't make the final five, but got into the NCAA tourney so that is awesome, plus MN lost the championship game, so that made it all alright.

Hump Day

I can't believe it is only wednesday, only two days left until I leave for sunny Mexico with Greg and my mom. I can't wait to get out of Dodge, the past two weeks have been long and draining. I'm in the middle of my practicum hours for DAPE and I absolutely love it. Today I taught 5 preschool classes and had so much fun. Fridays are the best days because I get to teach swim lessons at the Y with kids. Friday night Greg, Sara, Andy, and I are going to the Wisconsin/St Cloud Hockey game and sitting in the st cloud student section but secretly we'll be cheering for the Badgers! Then on saturday we leave for Mexico. I can't wait to have a pina colada, read a book, swim in the ocean and just relax for a week, it couldn't come at a better time. After spring break I start coaching track at Apollo High School and start two other sets of field hours, so I'll be really busy, but I can't wait, I love the track kids and can't wait to get started with them!!!!

So Andy will stop bugging me!!

So Andy insisted I make a blog page and after a pretty eventful weekend I thought I would start one.

This weekend we went up to God's Country aka Grantsburg, WI for some wintery fun with my high school friends, family, and neighbors. We went to Stella's in Uptown first for some drinks, 4 drinks = $30. We got to Gburg and my favorite bartenders Oscar and Paul were working at Hummer's. Bekah and Al showed up to join us and we were all treated to 50cent mystery shots. Mine was Green Apple Bacardi, yuck! Anyways that was fun, and we definitely hit those up all night. We changed #6 to Sambuca and made everyone showing up later do it, gross. I totally have Landon on video doing his, good times. It was a great night and I think Andy and I spent $15 the whole night because Paul and Oscar kept hooking us up. Andy got to meet more of my high school classmates, we did have over 10% of our class out with all 8 of us out :-). Even Noelle and Adrian drove up from the cities for the shenanigans

Saturday we had a fish fry at the neighbors and kind of vegged out. I went on a snowmobile ride with the neighbor to check out the fish at the fish contest on the lake, it was cold, brrrr! Saturday night was just as memorable. Some really old gross lady kept on rubbing up on all of us. Someone put a "Take me I'm easy" sign on her back that she was oblivious to. Bekah and I really sucked at Photo Hunt this weekend, someone we need to work on. Overall it was a great, pretty cheap weekend back home. I live for going home and seeing everyone. It was great to see everyone out to see Andy before he goes back to Iraq.

I'll get pictures up soon!
